Topic: Staying Safe as an Empath with Michelle McClintock

You Will Learn:
What it means to be an empath
How empaths can stay safe emotionally, especially when networking, in person or online. Learn what clothes to wear, how to prepare ahead of time and de-stress afterwards.
How does one keep their energy and office space clear?
How does an empathic introvert honor the ebbs and flows of being an entrepreneur?

A few takeaways:

An empath is someone who feels other people’s energy-positive and negative, and take it on as our own. As an introvert, we need to back down and re-group from that, so it can feel like a double whammy.

Daily meditation is highly beneficial for empaths and introverts. Imagine stepping into an energy bubble of protection every day to protect yourself from other people’s energies.

It’s OK to stop “following” certain people on social media to avoid their negative energy. You can still be friends and check in with them, they won’t know you are no longer following their feed.

Clutter can be a negative energy drain.

Allow yourself plenty of time to slow down, take time off, honor yourself and your energy. Make sure to get plenty of rest.

Check in with your body before saying yes or no. It’s ok to say NO and honor yourself.
